It was a pretty standard interview process, nothing out of the ordinary. The interviewer asked some pretty basic questions, and the overall format felt pretty standard too. The setting was also pretty basic, and frankly, the interviewer seemed pretty basic as well. Everything about it was just... basic.

Behavioral Other

The first phone screening with the consulting agency was informative and pleasant. However, the process to be considered for a phone interview with their client, who needs to fill the role, felt a bit excessive and a waste of valuable time and effort, especially for a role with a salary of 55k-65k. (RED FLAG) In total, I spent 2 hours, which included the initial phone screening and a timed assessment that was part personality/SAT style questions. None of this seemed relevant to the actual role, as the selected candidate would receive training, making the whole application process subjective and not justifying the low salary range. The process might have been more acceptable if the salary range was at least 85K. Time is something I can't get back. What made this experience even more disturbing was receiving the rejection email only AFTER I inquired about an update.
