Photo Studio Manager
I went through 9 interviews spread across several days. Unfortunately, it didn't lead to an offer as they decided to go with another candidate, which felt like a bit of a time sink.
- How do you go about motivating your team?
Administrative Assistant
Had two zoom interviews, then an in person one. It all went super well, I thought I was a great fit and they even talked about customizing the job for me. After three rounds though, they just disappeared, not even a rejection email. It was a weird change from how much they seemed to want to be friendly.
- Do you have experience with both Mac and PC operating systems?
Medical Assistant
The interview was conducted over Zoom due to COVID. It went well overall, though there were some brief technical glitches with the screen freezing, but the audio was fine. I was quite nervous, which is normal for me after being out of the interview loop for six years.
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you faced and how you managed it?
- Share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help a patient.
- Could you describe your personal qualities?
Stylist
This was a pretty disappointing phone screening. The interviewer didn't seem prepared or engaged at all, and even stumbled when asking about the job and my background, making me think they didn't really get the role. I wish I'd had a chance to ask questions to learn more about them and the company, as building rapport is key. It was also a big turn-off that they tried to reach me for an unscheduled screening days before our planned call. Because of this, I was already less interested going in. Honestly, based on the interviewer's tone and weak interviewing, I wasn't convinced and knew it wasn't the right place for me.
- Considering an offer, what would be your earliest start date?
