I had the phone interview with recruiter first, and then in-person interview with school head. You may need to prepare a trial class to demo. After the in-person interview, they will ask for couple more questions. The result will update in a week.

It was a very bad experience. They only did a phone call and asked if I could start immediately. If you couldn't start in the summer, they would move on to other candidates. They didn't really consider abilities.

I had a phone interview with HR first. Then I went in person to interview with the Head of School in Mission Viejo. After that, I had to teach a lesson plan. They called me two weeks later saying I was on the short list to be hired and I would hear back in a few days. They ghosted me, though! I sent nice emails and called, but I never heard back professionally. It's good I didn't end up there if that's how they treat staff. The pay was also 20% less than the low end for teacher salaries. Don't go there.

It was a fast interview process, and I did a lesson demo. The staff and teachers were really friendly. I got an offer the very next day. The whole process was quick. I liked how welcoming they were and that they really looked closely at all my education and credentials.
