The interview process was organized and professional. I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter within a couple of weeks. Communication was clear, and they provided detailed instructions and a time zone reminder for the Microsoft Teams interview. The panel consisted of two Managers who were friendly and respectful throughout.

They told me upfront that the interview steps were: HR screen, then Hiring Manager interview, then maybe a Team Lead interview, then reference check, and finally offer. I thought references were only checked if an offer was basically guaranteed. So I had four references do this super long 33-question survey with essays. After they finished and I followed up for a week, I got rejected. Basically, reference checks don't mean an offer is coming and the process can take forever with bad communication even after references are done. Think hard about asking your references to do a lot of work if it might not even lead to a job.

This school hires in a really messed up way, and decides who moves forward unfairly. I interviewed in Feb 2025 for a coaching job. I thought it went great, but they lied and said they weren't hiring for it anymore. They told me I could wait until it reopened and would already be a candidate. My application waited for 4 months until it was posted again. I applied right away and told the manager I spoke with initially. They said a recruiter should contact me soon. After two weeks with no word, I checked my applications and saw it was closed and I wasn't being considered. Plus, they blocked me from applying to other jobs! This place is unethical, dishonest, and doesn't keep their word. They play favorites and games. I should have at least gotten an interview out of respect, but a biased recruiter completely disqualified me. I'm filing an ethics complaint with the Minnesota workforce department.

The interview process was straightforward with some typical interview questions being asked like why do you want to work here and tell me about yourself. Other questions included situational questions.
