I had a phone chat with a recruiter for this role. It was a really weird and unfriendly interview. The person interviewing me seemed like they didn't want to be there, asking the same few standard questions you get in almost every initial recruiter screen. They were super picky about my answers to pretty much everything. It felt more like an interrogation than an interview. You know, these interviews are supposed to be a chance for you to sell the company to me too, right? After that call, I took Stratacache off my list. I was already talking to other companies that at least pretend to have some enthusiasm and basic politeness.

I applied online and then got an email to set up a phone interview. I had a 30min call with HR. The HR person was really rude and unprofessional, showed up late, and was condescending the whole time. They asked me a bunch of uncomfortable questions. I withdrew my application after that.

So after you apply, they'll look at your resume. If they like it, they'll call you to set up a phone interview. The phone interview is gonna be about IT systems, digital media, and technical support stuff. You don't necessarily need to have tech support or IT experience, but it sure helps. You gotta be friendly and willing to learn because there's a lot to take in. Then, it's either an in-person or tele-interview.

The interview process was pretty straightforward and the questions were simple and standard. The atmosphere was very laid-back and friendly. I spoke with three different people one-on-one. Each person represented a different part of the department I was applying to. It was originally planned as two separate interviews, but they must have been impressed because they decided to do the second interview on the same day, saving me a trip back later in the week. Overall, it was a really great experience.
