Behavioral

I applied online and was quickly contacted for more info. Then I was set up with a second person for an interview, but I was rejected for experience before it happened. The company president later reached out, saying they watched my process even after it closed. The whole thing was messy and uncommunicated, happening in under 24 hours with three different people.

Behavioral Other

I was first reached out to about potentially pivoting to a Technical Recruiter role. It sounded interesting and after a quick phone chat, I got set up for a Zoom interview that same week with the person who contacted me and the company President. The interview went well, I got a look at what the job would entail and they addressed my behavioral questions. I was basically told the job was mine if I wanted it, but to take the weekend to decide and let them know Monday if I wanted to move forward. They were also going to take the weekend to think, but I felt pretty good about how things ended. I emailed them on Monday like we agreed. Later that day, I heard back that they decided not to proceed because my past experience wasn't quite what they were looking for. It was pretty disappointing since I didn't even apply for this job – they reached out to me. I felt like they should have figured that out before contacting me.

Started with a phone screen with HR, then a technical phone interview with the department manager. Afterwards, I had an onsite interview. No writing test was involved.
