My interview process had 3 rounds. The first was with the Engineering Manager, the second with the Plant Manager, and the third was a tour followed by offer typing. Just getting this to the 30-word minimum.

I applied online and sent my resume. About 4-6 months later, I got a call to set up a phone interview. It took weeks to schedule, and the call itself was only about 15 minutes. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview, which again took several weeks to arrange. When I went in, several people I was supposed to meet were unavailable. The hiring manager said I was in a very advanced stage, but we only spoke for about 40 minutes. I also briefly spoke with one of the owner's family members and got a tour. I was told I'd hear back in two weeks, but then I was ghosted. I sent follow-up emails and made calls for weeks with no response. Any company that ghosts a candidate at an advanced stage isn't worth working for.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process had several red flags. It started with a 30min phone screening that was late and cut short to 10min. The first round was supposed to be 2hr 15min but went over. There was no follow-up after the interview. They also seemed overly proud of their new office, which was strange. I was uninterested after hearing the interview length but decided to give it a chance. After leaving, I knew I'd withdraw if asked back. Never heard anything, so that's it. It feels like Sto Trailers doesn't respect candidates, from the first call to the lack of follow-up.

Technical Other

The interview process was quite lengthy and involved several steps: a personality test that lasted over an hour, a phone screen, an in-person screening, and a Solidworks test. The interview environment was pretty dismal, feeling more like a dungeon. The interview experience itself was negative, more like an interrogation than a proper interview. I didn't feel it was a good fit and would've turned down an offer. Nobody seemed happy working there.
