First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Storage Scholars.
Campus Operations Coordinator
The interview process had 2 rounds, and they were pretty similar, just with different interviewers. It wasn't too challenging; the conversations were quite relaxed, as far as I can recall. They asked the typical questions you'd expect in an interview.
- Can you share an example of a situation where you showed leadership?
- Describe a scenario you encountered that called for leadership abilities.
Project Manager
There were two interviews, each lasting 30 to 60 minutes, that evaluated your common sense, time management, and other skills needed for the positions. The questions weren't difficult and were pretty low-stakes since most interviewers and employees are college students.
- What utensil would you be if you could choose, and why?
Marketing Intern
I sent in one application online and then had a single interview with an HR person. They asked behavioral questions, and didn't ask any case study questions. The interview was simple, standard, and easy.
- Tell me about one of your greatest strengths.
Sales Associate
The interview process started with a round with a person who manages multiple departments, which is common in startups and can feel a bit disorganized. It was a bit of an awkward interview, and I don't think the interviewer was ready.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
