First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stonyfield Farm.
Art Director
I got an email to set up a teams call. The first interview was with my HR rep and direct boss. They gave a presentation about the agency and my job duties. Then I had a second interview with a colleague to get a second opinion on the team and my assignments.
- Have you ever managed people before?
Maintenance Technician
They only highlight the positives, not the reality of the job or what to truly expect, even though they know it. They didn't give me a tour, and I now see why. If I'd seen the absolute chaos and how dysfunctional and overly complicated things are, I wouldn't have taken the job. The HR people were overly friendly, which should have been a red flag. Once you're in, you get very little support from them.
- What prompted your job search away from your current role?
Human Resources
This interview process was super long, taking about 4 months from when I applied to finally hearing back. They didn't do a great job of keeping me updated. The recruiter was a contractor and wasn't very helpful, seemed annoyed even. The company and Danone have a good mission and benefits. The hiring team wasn't great at communicating, which seems like it might be how things are usually done there. Some ex-employees said communication is generally a problem between departments and with HQ. If you can fix that, I'd be impressed!
- What is your motivation for applying to Stonyfield?
- How do you see yourself being a good fit for this role?
- Describe your ideal career goal or dream job.
Intern
First, there was a phone interview with some qualitative and behavioral questions. After that, I had an in-person interview.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a challenge and how you managed to overcome it?
- Could you walk me through your past experiences?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult task or individual.
