Behavioral Technical Case

It was a long interview process. It started with a quick phone screening then interviews with two partners. The first interview, the partner was almost 20 minutes late. For the second interview, they rescheduled with only 2 hours notice. There were a mix of personality based questions and technical questions. During a 3rd virtual interview with another partner, it was communicated that an offer would be extended and to either expect one by the end of the week, or to expect a couple additional interviews as a formality just to get to know the rest of the team. Two additional virtual interviews were scheduled for a total of 5 interviews plus the phone screening. Throughout the process the interviewers talked about how the firm has a “people first” mentality, however, overall this was not demonstrated during the process. After the final interview, there was no update. Finally a brief rejection email with no feedback was sent after a follow-up. It is incredibly unprofessional to be told during the process that an offer would be extended, when that wasn't the case. There was a clear lack of integrity, accountability, and transparency, which is antithetical to the culture and core values they proclaim to have.

I applied through a LinkedIn post and was contacted a few days later for an initial phone call with HR to go over my resume and relevant coursework. Then, I had an in-office interview where I met with a manager, then a manager and a senior consultant, and finally another managing director. They asked about my interests in Forensics and my previous experiences. There were many behavioral questions, which I found surprisingly not too difficult. A week later, I got a callback and returned to the office to meet more employees. They asked many of the same questions and also talked a lot, answering my questions thoroughly. This interview felt easier than the first, which was unexpected. The process concluded with lunch with some consultants.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had a screening call with HR, then went through three more rounds of interviews. The first round had two separate interviews with office managers. The second round involved two separate interviews with managing directors. The final round was one interview with the office partner. You end up meeting most of the people in the office during the interview process.
