First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stoli Group.
Revenue Analyst
I applied and about a week later got an email to schedule an interview with Sabina and the hiring director. It was a bit strange because they only offered one date/time, which felt like a take-it-or-leave-it situation. I managed to get an interview scheduled though. The interview itself was about 30 minutes. The hiring manager asked some questions, and I felt pretty good about it. Then Sabina asked her questions, but it seemed like she wasn't really listening because she asked me almost the exact same questions the hiring manager had already asked.
- Why are you interested in working for Stoli?
National Accounts Manager
I got an email about a video interview 8 days after applying online. They offered only one time/date, which was 6:30am my time. I said yes to the video interview but explained the time didn't work and gave them three other options during business hours. It's been two weeks, and all those times have passed, and I haven't heard back. If they expect 6:30am video calls, that's a lack of boundaries and not the culture I want. Plus, the lack of a reply is unprofessional.
- Please let me know if the proposed time works, and I will send a Teams invitation.
Marketing Manager
This was one of the most questionable recruiting practices I have ever encountered. I was asked to prepare an entire marketing plan for one of their tequila brands over the summer. It took hours to prepare. I then had a panel interview to discuss my plan, plus my background and experience. Unfortunately, I did not get the position. Fast forward several months later and they reposted for a similar role. I inquired directly with the recruiter. If you could believe it, they wanted to me to prepare ANOTHER marketing plan, but for one of their other brands. Hard pass. I'm do not do consulting gigs for free.
- Prepare a marketing plan.
- What are 3 strengths?
Sales Director
The interview process felt very professional and conversational. I had a one-on-one with the VP, and the HR team was quick to discuss benefits and future prospects. Stoli's interview process is top-notch!
- Can you describe your management style?
- How would you assess your financial skills regarding pricing and budget management?
- Could you share an experience where you developed and oversaw chain scan and QD programs?
