First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stock Yards Bank & Trust.
Network Administrator
The interview process went well, I had two interviews for the position, one over the phone and the second in person, and they were just days apart. The manager and directors seemed very knowledgeable and passionate about the team and were open to questions and ensuring I was a good fit. They didn't ask many technical questions to gauge my specific skills, but I feel they asked adequate questions to find that I would be willing to learn any missing skills required.
- Could you describe the last significant project you were involved in?
Relationship Manager
I had several interviews with the division manager and top executives at the bank, even the president. We spaced out the interviews over a few weeks to coordinate our schedules. Once they were sure I met their needs and I answered their questions, the vibe got more chill and laid-back.
- Can you describe your plan of action?
- How would you benefit this bank?
Service Associate
Before the interview, I took a teller assessment at the HR building. It was on the computer and told you everything you need to know. The interview at the bank branch almost completely consisted of personality type questions. There were two people interviewing me. The interview was over in less than an hour.
- Tell me about a time you went above and beyond in a previous role.
Database Specialist
The interview went real well. I was comfortable with the two people that interviewed me. They seemed like they would be good people to work with. I would let them know if I wasn't experienced in an area. The interview lasted about an hour. I was called a few days later and offered the position.
- I really can't remember since the interview was 3 years ago.
