First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stihl.
Intern
I interviewed for the Stihl 2026 internship program in São Leopoldo. The first part was a group interview run by IEL (Instituto Euvaldo Lodi). About 15 of us were evaluated by an IEL recruiter. She gave us a set of questions and we each had to introduce ourselves based on those prompts. I found it really cold and awkward because the recruiter wasn't looking at the screen when people spoke, it felt like we were talking to ourselves (I hope she was taking notes though), she asked some people questions but not others. It felt very cold and not welcoming at all. Another important thing to mention is that the internship positions on the IEL site for Stihl have a filter for specific courses, and if you're studying something SIMILAR for the area but it's not LISTED for the job, you can't apply, which makes it quite limited.
- When facing weeks with multiple demands (study/work/life), how do you prioritize and ensure deadlines are met?
Intern
Intern
It was a very tiring process with a group dynamic and a group interview. They don't explore each candidate very well. It feels like the company wants to get the processes done quickly, which is why they put in the dynamics and group interviews. I think there's a lot of discrepancy.
