The interviewer was nice and explained how the company works. Things ended when I asked for a higher starting salary than they offered, given my lab experience. They said they would let me know about an in-person interview in the next few days if they wanted to move forward, but I figured that was unlikely, and I never heard back. It was kind of a bummer to wait a month just for it to end like that.

So I had an interview, but only one person showed up because the other had to travel. They didn't tell me beforehand or after, but whatever. I emailed them to set up another interview. They said sorry and asked if I could do Friday. I couldn't because I already had plans, so I told them and asked for another time. They never replied, ghosted me for 15 days, then emailed to say they weren't moving forward. When I asked why, especially since they agreed to a second interview, I still got no response. Honestly, don't apply here. The manager can't communicate and only does things his way. It's not a good place to work.

The interview was relaxed and flexible. This is a tech company specializing in chromosome sexing. It was brief and promising. The atmosphere was welcoming for those interested in Flow Cytometry. Talent is valued but not the top priority.
