First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at StevenDouglas.
Recruiter
It was a pleasant and casual conversation. I got to meet different team members and some leaders. There were a few rounds, all virtual and they were all valuable. The people were all great.
- What are your career goals?
- Can you tell me about your experience with billing?
Operating Partner
I reached out about an Operating Partner role at a Private Equity fund, and I had an interview with the Director at Steven Douglas who is handling the hiring for this position.
- Can you describe your past experience?
- What drives your interest in this position?
Human Resources Assistant
I applied for the job and got a call within 2 days for a phone interview. They liked me and moved me to a Zoom interview with the HR manager. Then I had a final in-person interview that lasted 2 hours with the whole team. It felt like way too long for an entry level job, like an interrogation.
- Can you tell me your 5-year career aspirations?
Executive Search
It was easy and simple. I spoke with several people from different divisions. They told me what my responsibilities would be and how the company would help me achieve those goals. We also talked about the company culture and how collaborative everyone is.
- Can you describe how you manage your desk?
