I had an interview with Ric for the first round and it went well. He then helped me schedule the next three interviews, all within two weeks. Ric was great; he listened to my feedback and answered all my questions about the company after each round. The whole process, from the first interview to getting the offer, took just over two weeks. Ric was professional and efficient.

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn after I applied for the CyberSecurity Engineer role. We scheduled a call for the next day. The recruiter called me an hour early due to a time zone mix-up. The interview involved basic questions about my career change motivations, salary expectations, and relevant experience. We planned a follow-up interview for Monday. However, a few hours before that scheduled interview, I was informed that the position was filled by an internal candidate who had already received an offer. It was a waste of time, and the recruiting agency should have been aware of the internal hire.

I talked to a recruiter who wanted to set up a professional profile. The whole thing was pretty chill. She asked for my resume, my work history, we talked about my main skills and where I'd like to work. She told me about Sterling's background and how they're big in the Midwest for recruiting, and she helped me get some phone interviews with engineering and manufacturing places around here. She wasn't trying to push contract work or anything for her own gain – she seemed like she really wanted to find the right spot for me based on what I'm good at and what I'm looking for.

It was a quick phone call, about 15-30 minutes, mostly to talk about what else might be a good fit down the line. The specific job I applied for was already filled, but they thought I might be a good match for other roles, so they wanted to see if I was interested and asked some general interview questions.
