First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at StemExpress.
Manager
The interview process was easy and straightforward. I was hired on rather quickly. The staff made me feel very comfortable during the interview. After the reviews I declined moving forward.
- How did you find out about us?
Clinical Laboratory Scientist
A recruiter contacted me about a phone screen. The scheduled call never happened. After waiting 15 minutes past the start time and getting no response to my email, I reached out to the job poster on LinkedIn. The recruiter then called and left a voicemail, saying they mixed up my phone number, but this doesn't explain the lack of email response. I tried calling back with no luck. The next day, I got a generic rejection email. Super unprofessional.
- The recruiter never actually called me for the scheduled screening.
Executive Assistant
The interview process with StemExpress was pretty simple. I had a phone interview, then an in-person interview, and then they offered me the job. It moved pretty fast and I was able to start right away.
- Can you tell me how you handle numerous competing priorities?
- What strategies do you use to maintain work-life balance when faced with a long list of tasks?
Sales Representative
I was first reached out to by a recruiter for a quick phone call to go over the job details. Then, I was moved on to the next round of interviews. In this round, I had a zoom interview with the sales manager and an HR person. The interview was about 45 minutes long. They mentioned that there would be more interviews after this one, and that I might even fly out to California for an in-person interview at their headquarters. Surprisingly, a few days later, the HR representative who interviewed me emailed me to say they were preparing an offer. She warned that it could take a few weeks for management approval, but it was coming. It's been a few weeks, and we've kept in touch. Both the recruiter and HR rep have confirmed the offer is still on its way.
- Can you describe your sales background and approach, and explain why you're looking for a new job and what you want in your next role?
- What's your sales experience and style, why are you looking for a new role, and what are your expectations for a new position?
- Tell me about your sales experience and approach, why you're looking for a new job, and what you're hoping to find in your next role.
