It was a group interview. We started with a test of knowledge in our area of expertise. For trained therapists, this means knowing about electrical body treatments for beauty. Then, there was a practical trade test where we had to massage our partner's back, focusing on using our arms. This is easier for experienced therapists, but if you're fresh out of college, you'll need to learn forearm techniques. Finally, we had to sell a product in front of the group. They were looking for confidence in public speaking, not necessarily selling skill.

The typical path to becoming a Spa Manager here often starts with being a fitness instructor, as promotions to this role are usually handled internally. Your on-the-job experience, especially your ability to sell products, is key. Hiring is usually done in London, England. You'll typically go through about 3-4 weeks of unpaid training before being assigned to a ship. Once you have your ship assignment, you'll travel to the city where it's located, possibly staying overnight if needed while waiting for the ship. Upon arrival and boarding the ship, you'll start working right away.
