First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Steinberg Hart.
Architect
The interview process felt pretty relaxed and friendly, but it was definitely structured. I spoke with people from various architecture backgrounds who chatted about my past experiences and what I'm looking for in my next career move.
- In terms of your career development, how do you envision your next role contributing to your growth?
- Are you open to broadening your expertise and capabilities across different architectural domains?
Architectural Job Captain
It went well. Learned about the projects and company. And also talked about what projects I was working on. Very friendly. The office environment is nice. And also took a tour for the office.
- Why are you looking to leave your current position?
Designer
I was hired based on my existing working relationship with the new Mixed-Use/Multi-family principal, having worked with them for a couple of years. I had actually put forward a friend for a role at Steinberg, and they were hired shortly after. My friend went through a phone interview and then a second in-person interview with the Managing Principal and Design Director. For the in-person interviews, they typically have two interviewers.
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
Intern
The whole process was super chill, quick, and direct. I chatted with the Intern Coordinator for about 20 mins, and they offered me the internship pretty fast, within a few days.
- Tell me about your past experiences and what you want to gain from this internship?
