Behavioral Case

Had a phone interview to talk about my background and resume. Then I went to an in-person interview at the Boston office and met some team members. We talked about why I'm interested in PE consulting and Steer Partners, and then some basic behavioral stuff and a market sizing case.

Case Behavioral

It was a few quick case studies and mainly behavioral questions. Compared to other consulting interviews, it felt pretty fair. Nothing seemed out of the blue, which was good.

Behavioral Technical

It was a really fast process. I applied on Handshake on Sunday night and heard back on Monday. They scheduled me for an interview the next day, and then the final interview was on Friday that same week. The first round was just a phone call where they asked some behavioral questions using the STAR method and went over my resume. The final round was a "superday" with back-to-back interviews with consultants. I thought there'd be a case study, but it was all behavioral questions and more resume walkthroughs. Make sure to ask them lots of questions.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I had three people interview me. The first one was a walk me through your resume type interview. The second was more in depth about my previous experiences and that same interviewer gave me a case. The third was more informative about the company and the work, and also for my comprehension of the role and they answered my questions relating to the job.
