First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stealth Startup.
Software Development Engineer
It was a 3-round process. All 3 rounds were technical, focusing solely on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). The first round involved a dynamic programming (DP) question, specifically a 'take, not take' type, for which I provided a satisfactory solution. The second round was about a Binary Tree (BT) problem. I initially found it challenging, but the interviewer was very helpful and guided me through the coding part.
- A dynamic programming question involving a take/not take scenario.
- A question related to Binary Trees.
Product Designer
This interview aims to understand your problem-solving skills, how adaptable you are, and if you fit with our company culture. We'll ask questions about your thought process and how you make decisions, like 'How do you tackle a new problem?' or 'Tell me about a time you had to change direction fast.' We're looking for critical thinking and a user-focused approach. We'll also talk about salary, benefits, and work hours to make sure we're on the same page. Expect discussions on pay, bonuses, health insurance, PTO, remote work, and career growth. Be open about your priorities. Then, we'll assess your skills. This could involve tests, projects, or live tasks, like building a prototype or doing a design exercise in a set time. We want to see your technical skills, creativity, and how your style matches what we need. Communication is key too. Finally, we want to make sure you have a smooth start. We'll introduce you to the company's mission and values, give you training and tools, maybe assign a buddy, and check in regularly to answer questions and see how you're doing. The goal is for you to feel ready to contribute.
- What do you think is more critical: UX or UI?

So I interviewed with Stealth recently. The process was pretty smooth and the people I talked to were really professional and nice. They asked questions that were specific to the role and let me show off what I know. It felt like they cared about both if I could do the job and if I'd fit in. They were upfront about what they were looking for and what happens next. All in all, it was a good experience and made me feel like Stealth is serious about hiring good people.
- Tell me about your past work experience.

So for the RAAM Group internship, the selection process was pretty straightforward. First, they shortlisted resumes and then sent out a Google Form for a personality and pre-assessment test. This test had common HR questions and also asked about your achievements in college, product-wise. You needed to write 100-300 words per answer, being descriptive and detailing your life skills. ChatGPT was allowed, but you had to align answers with company values and the job description. Round 1 had about 15-20 people and involved a case interview question (like a guesstimate) and then a lot of resume grilling, focusing on projects or past internships. For this, I prepared 3-5 minute talking points for each resume item using Notion and the STAR method. For case interviews, I practiced guesstimates, product design/improvement, and RCA using YouTube resources. Round 2 had 5-7 people and was mainly HR questions about work ethics, 'tell me about a time' scenarios, strengths/weaknesses, and teamwork. More resume grilling happened here too. Consistency in answers between rounds was key, as some HR questions were repeated to check honesty. Using paper and pen to organize thoughts and asking for time to plan was helpful. I got selected, and the results were out late that night. Two people got the summer internship offer with a 60kpm stipend. My resume had lots of startup projects and experience, plus 2 PORs.
