First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stealth Components.
International Business Executive
It was a very drawn-out and uncomfortable interview process with a lot of waiting. The interviewers asked tricky questions, almost like they were trying to catch me lying about my resume. The office environment was quite dim, and they became defensive when I asked about their business model. To top it off, no one even walked me out after the interview, and there was no follow-up call. Compared to about 10 other companies I interviewed with, this one was the least professional and welcoming.
- What qualities do you possess that would make you successful in this role?
Account Executive
The HR Manager Katie reached out to me first. We talked about my background, the job, and the company. Next, I had an in-person interview with Katie and the Sales Manager. After that, I came back another day to job shadow. This gave me a better feel for the role and let me meet the team. I got a sense of the company culture, which seemed pretty relaxed and positive. This experience actually made me more interested in the job because it offered great insight.
- Can you share an instance where you needed to be more persuasive to sell your ideas to others? Please give an example of the situation and how you managed to persuade the person.
Sales and Purchasing Representative
The interview process was super quick, which was great! It started with a short phone call, pretty basic. Then, they had me come in for an in-person interview with HR. After that, there was a third and final interview. If I got through that, I had to do a role-play and shadow some people to see if I could actually do the job and if I was still interested.
- What is your biggest motivator?
- How do you feel about cold calling?
Intern
I went to a job fair at my school. I gave them my resume and the HR person called me the next day if she liked it to set up an on-site interview.
- How would you manage handling a large volume of phone calls on a daily basis?
