The interview process was good and pretty fast, felt like the people were nice. It was a pretty standard process, not too different from other places. I had three interviews and then moved on to the final stages. The first interview was with the recruiter, the second with the hiring manager, and the last one was with the director.

I applied for the Leasing Consultant job online and also completed an aptitude test. About a couple of weeks later, the Assistant Manager reached out to me for an interview. After that, I was invited back for a second interview with the Community Manager. During this second interview, we did a role-play where I pretended to be a prospect looking for an apartment.

I had an onsite interview that went for about two and a half hours, which felt like a really long time. They asked a lot about how I'd deal with different scenarios, both with residents and with the staff on site. Then, after waiting for about two weeks, I got a call for a second interview with someone who worked with the first interviewer. This one was over the phone and lasted about 30 minutes. They actually asked a lot of the same questions as the first interview, like they were following the exact same guide. The interviewers were really professional, though, even if some of the questions were repeated. It took close to four weeks to finally get the job offer.

Behavioral Presentation

I met with the manager for about an hour. We talked about my past work experience and my future aspirations with the company. We went over the open job, all the responsibilities, how I would be a good fit, and the daily office and company processes. I also saw the model apartment and we talked about the Springs area. We discussed the property management company. Overall, it was a great experience getting to know each other and focusing on work-related topics and questions.
