Teller
I started with a quick phone call with the recruiter on Tuesday. Then, they sent me an email with an assessment test and a teller simulation. After I passed those, the same recruiter called me on Wednesday to schedule a Microsoft Teams interview for Friday. On Friday, I interviewed with a recruiter, a lead teller, and a branch manager. The manager said I'd hear back by the end of Wednesday, but I didn't get a call until Friday after I emailed the recruiter for an update. The interview questions weren't super hard, but I was nervous and found them tough to answer.
- Could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?
- What is it that motivates you on a daily basis?
- How would you describe your personality?
Real Estate Processor
I had an initial phone chat where they asked about my interest in STCU, my current duties, and my software experience. Then I got invited for an in-person interview, which was great. The talent acquisition rep called me, and the interview was just two days later. The hiring managers and talent acquisition rep even came to me to work around my schedule. The interview itself was the best I've ever had – really fun, relaxed, and it felt super smooth and natural.
- Can you describe your personality?
- How do you keep up-to-date with work rates and mortgage-related information?
- What does a typical day entail in your current role?
Teller
I first applied online, which was a really simple and quick process. Within a day or two, I got an email about the next step, which was a short quiz to see if I'd be a good fit for the company. It took about 30 minutes. A day or two after that, I got a call saying my quiz results were great and they wanted to schedule an interview. I had the interview a few days later and got a call back within a few hours to let me know I got the job.
- Can you share an instance where you had to manage an unhappy customer and describe your actions?
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a colleague or superior and how you resolved it.
