STC was slow to respond, but set up a phone interview with HR. After that, my info went to the department, and I had an in-person interview. It was short, and the interviewer hadn't been there long and didn't know much. They were condescending, repeatedly asking if I understood technical writing, despite my resume showing experience. They also mentioned my potential coworker would also be new, as would everyone at that location, which I found concerning due to high turnover. They said they'd contact me either way, but never did.

I sent in my application online and heard back from them in about one to two weeks. The whole thing took a few weeks. First, I spoke with an HR person on the phone, then I had another phone chat with two managers. After that, they flew me out for an in-person interview. The phone calls were pretty standard, where they really dug into my past work and experience. The onsite was pretty chill, more like a chat and getting to know the company. I met with some big names there and had both one-on-one chats and a group session. The onsite went on for a few hours. I think the main goal was to see if I'd be a good fit culture-wise. I got an offer less than two hours after leaving the onsite.

I got an email from HR to schedule a phone call to go over the opportunity. It was a pretty straightforward chat where they asked about my past academic projects. A few days later, I was invited for an in-person session. It wasn't really an interview, but more of a debugging task. I was given some code with an error that I had to fix. After that, I got another invite for an in-person technical interview. It was a 45-minute session where they asked a bunch of really simple Java questions. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

First round was a Telephonic HR call, second round was onsite face-to-face technical questions in .NET, and the third round was with the Hiring Manager. I'm not sure if the position was really open or not, they rejected my offer for no reason, and it was a waste of my time.
