First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stautzenberger College.
Instructor
First, I had to finish an online application. Then, I had a phone chat with the hiring manager. After that, there was a teaching demo on campus. I also met with upper management to talk about job possibilities and what they're looking for. I also got to meet some of the team and see the facility. Finally, we went over the offer letter and the employee handbook.
- Could you describe your approach to teaching?
Instructor
First, there was a phone call introduction. Then, they set up an in-person interview. Once I got there, I had to fill out an application and undergo a background check. During the in-person interview, I also had to give a teach-back presentation in front of the current instructors and staff who were available.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Adjunct Faculty
The staff were very personable and dedicated, but there was a long contract that the hiring manager didn't know the specifics of. It was a neutral experience overall; I would have been happy to join the company if the contract had been worded more clearly.
- Deliver a 15-minute teaching demonstration.
