First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at State Street Syntel.
Officer
The interview process started with a PI round, followed by an essay writing task, then an aptitude test, an HR round, and finally a manager round. In the first round, you need to speak for 2 mins on any topic, but it shouldn't be about you, the company, or family. The second round was essay writing, which was easy and just to check your grammar. The third round involved listening to 2 audio clips and answering related questions on maths, reasoning, grammar. It's important to listen carefully and note down what you hear. The fourth round was the HR round, which wasn't too difficult, asking easy questions about yourself, family, why Syntel, and night shifts. The last round was with the manager, where they asked finance-related questions, so it's good to prepare on mutual funds, bonds, primary and secondary markets, hedge funds, and derivatives.
