It was a pretty standard interview process, the questions were what you'd expect. There were 3 people on the interview panel. The interview took place over Zoom and lasted 45 minutes. They asked for 3 references. I didn't get the result for over a month.

The virtual interview had some tough questions, but the interviewers didn't engage much. I felt like my answers were restricted, and there wasn't much back-and-forth. It just felt a bit cold and not like a real conversation throughout the whole thing.

I had a panel interview with 3 state employees, and one of them ended up being my boss. The questions were pretty straightforward and seemed scripted. I think I waited about a week after the interview to get an offer, and they had interviewed multiple people for the role.

I was emailed an invitation for a one-hour virtual interview, but the scheduling link was broken. The next day, they announced a change in their interview process and said they'd be in touch. Shortly after, I got another email for a 15-minute recorded phone interview. They started by saying they had two questions and wouldn't be taking any questions from me. During my responses, they kept using verbal cues like 'Mhm,' 'Yes,' and 'Okay' while I was speaking, which felt rushed, distracting, and almost rude. They mentioned they'd let me know by the end of the week if I was moving forward, but I never heard back, so I assume they weren't interested. This was honestly the most frustrating interview experience in my 20 years of work.
