First, you'll have a phone screen to check if you're basically qualified and interested. If you pass that, we'll bring you in for an in-person interview. We'll ask about your previous jobs, schooling, and if you have the right skills for this role. We might also ask some behavioral questions to see how you handle different situations. Sometimes, we give a skills test too. After that, we'll look over everything and decide if we want to make you an offer.

I applied online and had to send in a tax clearance doc, transcript, and a letter of interest. Got a call about 2 weeks later to set up an interview. When I got there, I had to arrive 15 minutes early and they gave me a list of 8 behavioral questions. They mentioned they have these questions on their website, but there are over 800 of them. They didn't ask anything else other than those questions.

  • Can you describe the toughest challenge you encountered when collaborating with someone who had different ideas from yours?
  • What was your specific contribution towards accomplishing the work goal?
  • How did the situation ultimately affect your capacity to complete tasks collaboratively in the future?

Behavioral

The interview process was professional but friendly. I learned a lot about the company from talking to people and checking out their website. The people I spoke with were upfront about what they liked and disliked. They needed to fill this role quickly, so things moved fast. Within four business days, I had an in-person interview with a manager and a coworker. I think Kansas has a great work environment, and I like that the work benefits others.
