It was a formal, structured, and very fair interview process. Definitely one of the more rigorous ones I've gone through. I felt like they asked really specific questions for how long the interview was, but I also get that they had to manage their time during the interview.

Technical Presentation

The interview process was very slow and the interviews were quite low-level. They gave me a project and asked about my project management skills, focusing more on the project aspect than the technical side. After three interviews, I was informed I didn't make it to the next stage. The entire experience spanned 2.5 months.

The interview was a 30-minute session with a hiring committee of four people, including the supervisor, peer-level colleagues, and one additional member. It was a good conversation where I also learned about the job expectations. However, they didn't emphasize the amount of time spent on administrative tasks, like daily time entry.

I was invited to pick times to come in for an interview in person. I didn't get past the first stage, but they let me know there would be two more interviews. The interview had about 20-25 minutes of questions about my past work. There were surprisingly few general questions like "why do you want to work here?"

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe a challenging policy analysis you have conducted?
