Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at State Farm.
Sales Representative
It was a good and well-structured interview. The interviewer was friendly, and the whole thing lasted about 45 minutes. They clearly explained what would happen next. A manager and junior manager were there the entire time and asked me questions about my background and whether I'd be a good fit.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations?
Sales
It was a 2 round interview process. The interviews were not long. They asked basic questions, which seemed vague to me. I would recommend it for some people, but it's not the right job for everybody. I only got asked five questions total in my second round interview and the interviewer didn’t even seem interested during the interview.
- Tell me about your previous experience.
Sales Leader
They were super detailed about what they wanted for their team, which was great. Made the whole thing feel really comfortable. I wish every interview was this good.
- In ten years, where do you envision yourself?
