I was sent a link to do a digital interview. You have like 1-2 minutes each to record yourself answering about 6-7 questions. This format is not ideal. If the question does not exactly match your experience, you do not have the chance to interact with a real person to ask a clarifying question. I believe companies that use this format risk losing highly qualified candidates. Please consider a phone call or a live virtual meeting.

Applied online through Indeed. Got an assessment link the next day. Did well and got a recruiter call two days later. The recruiter was helpful and applied me to another role too. Then I got scheduled for two interviews, one with a group of supervisors over the phone a week later, and another a week after that for the second role. About two weeks after the first interview, they gave me an offer. The job started four weeks after the offer. It was good they did phone interviews since I'm out of state. The whole thing took about a month.

I was looking for a part-time job to start earning money and get involved in my community during my freshman year of college. By connecting with people in the athletic department at CU, I was able to network and found a good fit at a local State Farm agent's office. The agent was very knowledgeable and understood I had no idea what the insurance business entailed. She knew a lot about me before I even came in. She was very easygoing and made the conversation relaxed.
