I applied in December 2024 and got an interview in February 2025. The interview was on Zoom with three team members. The questions came fast and the lead hiring manager kept cutting me off. It was off-putting. I only got to ask one question at the end. A week later, I asked the HR rep and they said they were still deciding. Another week passed and still no answer. I also emailed the hiring team but got no response. I get it if I wasn't a fit, but they should at least tell me. I saw the same job reposted a few months later. I asked HR if it was the same job, and they said it was a repost because they 'couldn't find anyone.' It doesn't make sense to me why they would go through the whole process again if the first candidate didn't work out.

So the interview process involved an initial application, then a screening, and finally a panel interview. It was pretty straightforward — just make sure you're ready to answer questions that have a lot of parts to them and cover everything asked. Salary negotiation can be a bit tough because they have set classifications.

It's a panel interview with 4 or 5 managers, often not your direct supervisor. They really care about analytical skills, and you MUST have experience in a production environment. It's more about high quantity of work than super high quality. Keep in mind that a lot of first-line supervisors and leads only have a high school diploma and worked their way up. Don't get discouraged if you don't get the job the first time. Retake the test, aim for the top 2 ranks, and keep trying! For the really good jobs, they tend to interview around holidays because there are so many applicants.

The entire hiring process took about 3 months, and I was interviewed 7 weeks after the application deadline. I had to drive 2.5 hours each way for the job interview. The HR people and the interview panel were nice. It was interesting to find out that out of 374 applicants, only 120 filled out the application correctly for the first cut. 100 people were selected for interviews, so basically, I got the interview because I filled out the application correctly (SOQ is important!). I was cut right after the first round of the job interview. I found it interesting that the panel didn't even read my application, so they just scored me based on my interview answers, not my whole application. Also, only 12 people will be selected externally, and half of those are internal hires. Even though I applied in my region, I was competing with everyone in the state, giving me about a 12% chance of getting the job. The information I got was helpful, but it was a lot of effort to take a day off work and drive to the headquarters for such a small chance of success, so I feel neutral about it.
