First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at StarVista.
Case Manager
It started with a phone screen, then a first round interview. The second round involved looking at vignettes to gauge how you would respond to potential scenarios with clients. It was pretty straightforward. They shared the questions in advance, which was nice.
- Can you tell me about your experience with case management?
Mental Health Clinician
The interview process was respectful and friendly. The staff seem happy and it's a positive community. Pay is a bit low but comparable.
- What draws you to working with this specific population?
School Based Therapist
The interview was professional, chill, and I learned a lot. It lasted about an hour, and I got to ask my questions at the end. After that, they showed me around the office and I met the director. The person interviewing me was nice, easy to talk to, and professional.
- Can you describe your clinical strengths that make you a good fit for this position?
Mental Health Clinician
I met with the program manager first and then with the PM and program director. We had two in-person interviews in total. The questions were pretty basic, nothing out of the ordinary. The whole process moved pretty fast, wrapped up in under a week. They asked a question in Spanish to check my bilingual skills. Since it's a non-profit, the salary wasn't super flexible, but I think it's competitive for this field and considering the caseload.
- Could you share your experience working with parents?
- Do you have experience working with parents?
- Tell me about your experience working with parents.
