I already knew the female doctor by last name from Florida. HR Assistant Thadious was very warm. He's new to the company. Staff relations were a bit rough and competitive before. There wasn't a solid level of respect from the start, so it's easy to be challenged as a management person.

I applied through Ziprecruiter and got an email for a phone interview. After the phone interview, I was asked to come in for an in-person meeting. I met with the CFO, and it was clear within 5 minutes that he wasn't interested. It felt like a waste of time since they already had my resume.

The interview process was pretty disorganized. The interviewer was a new hire, and the HR person who was supposed to interview me didn't show up. They told me I was interviewing for a Human Relations position, but then it turned out to be an administrative assistant role. I had to take a computer test that was multiple-choice questions about Microsoft Office. It wasn't too hard, but since I use a Mac, I had to think a bit more for some questions. If you use Windows a lot, it should be easy. I asked for a business card, but the interviewer, being new, didn't have one. I got her contact info and emailed her a thank you, but she hasn't responded yet.
