First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stars Therapy Services.
Therapist
The interview was about an hour long and involved several critical thinking activities and exploring different scenarios and their possible outcomes. Two interviewers asked me about my strengths and weaknesses, what I was looking for in the company, and why they should choose me. They also inquired about my comfort level with different age groups and my previous experience in the field.
- How would you handle a parent's concern that you only play with their child?
Early Interventionist
Got a LinkedIn message asking to apply on Indeed. After applying, I got a call where they explained the program, asked about my experience and availability. Then they invited me for an in-person interview a few days later. The interview was straightforward with a lot of scenario questions. Got an offer a few days after and accepted.
- How would you handle a situation where a client's parent invites you to their child's first birthday party?
- What would be your response if a client's parent accused you of simply playing with their child and not seeing any progress?
- What is your approach if a client's parent asks why you did not accept their Facebook friend request?
Human Resources
It was a really professional experience! There were two rounds of interviews where they shared a lot of info about their work. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. The work culture seems amazing, and the management is keen on making it even better.
- Can you tell me about your skills and experience?
- What drives your passion for early intervention?
Behavioral Specialist
It was a pretty chill but still kinda formal chat about my past work and experience. They wanted me to talk about myself and why I think I'd be great for this job.
- Can you describe how you manage stressful situations?
