I applied through a consultant and after they reviewed my profile, I was invited for the first round of interview. There were two interviewers, a product manager and a Salesforce admin. They interviewed me longer than the scheduled time, which I thought was a good sign. The interview mostly focused on my experience with a few technical questions. A few days later, they told me I was "overqualified". This was a strange reason, especially since they knew my experience and skills beforehand. It shows their lack of understanding of profiles and their own needs. StarLeaf should improve their interview process.

Behavioral Technical

The application process had two rounds. Initially, there was a video survey with the Recruiter where they asked about my background and my experiences in the video market. Then, they gave me an introduction to the company, its products, and how things work. After that, I had a second interview, which was a Face to Face meeting. This interview also involved many questions about my background and experiences. I received the job offer a few days later. The whole process was very pleasant and informative. Everyone I interacted with made an effort to answer my questions and present the company in a positive light.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was longer than expected, but in a positive way. You get to meet virtually with 4-5 different employees in different roles related to your potential job. I enjoyed it because it gave me a great perception of the workplace as well as who I would likely be working with on a somewhat regular basis. They are looking for people that not only fit the JD but also fit the company culture. They are still small enough where this is a key factor which I greatly appreciate.

First, we reviewed your application, CV, and cover letter. Then, there was a video interview where you had to pre-prepare some technical writing for a household item, along with a general chat about yourself and your CV. The next step was an onsite interview, which involved meeting different people from the department, doing a technical test using our products, and having a more detailed discussion about your CV and the company.
