- What makes you choose Starbucks for coffee over other places?
Marketing Manager
It was pretty long, involving 5 different people, but it was good for me to really get a feel for the job and the company. Make sure you use the STAR method for your answers, they ask some really thought-provoking questions.
- Tell me about your experience.
- Can you share an example of a difficult marketing campaign you led?
- What metrics do you use to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts?

I applied on the internet and they set up interviews for me at two different spots. At the first place, the store manager and another manager who was training sat down with me for a coffee tasting. The manager in training was literally reading from a manual. They both asked a bunch of behavioral questions.
- Can you share an instance when you had a disagreement with your supervisor?
Barista
First I got an email asking me to interview then we set up a date. I got to the interview and the interviewer was not there and had forgotten. So we had to reschedule the interview but that time they showed up.
