So the interview process usually starts with sending in your application and then they do some initial screenings. After that, you'll have phone or video interviews, and then maybe some in-person or more virtual meetings with different people on the team. They might also give you skills tests or check your references to see how you've done in the past. If you keep going, you might have final interviews with the main people who make decisions, and then hopefully get a job offer. It's all about seeing if you're a good fit for the role, checking your skills, experience, and if you'd fit in with the team.

I went to the office for a scheduled meeting, but the interviewer was on vacation. I spoke with someone else who explained the commission-based pay structure and an hourly option. They mentioned a 3-month training program starting in 2 weeks. A few days later, I got a postcard saying I didn't get the job. I felt a postcard was a poor way to communicate this after I invested time and provided my information, especially since it revealed I was job searching. The company's ad mentioned a sign-on bonus, possibly to offset the training period. I'm glad I didn't get the job due to the undesirable hours and pay.

I first chatted with the store manager on the phone, like a quick check to see if an in-person interview was even needed. That call was super short, only like 3-4 minutes. Then, I met the store manager face-to-face. This was a 1:1 chat that went for about 15 minutes. The last step was traveling to another city to meet the Regional Manager. They pretty much just looked at my resume with me right there, and we talked for about 5 minutes. The whole thing took nearly three weeks.

The interview process was extensive. It included interviews with the sales manager, store manager, and regional manager, followed by a background check. Setting up each interview could take weeks. They also have open house interviews, which I recommend. You can complete all three interviews in one day. Be prepared to spend a few hours there.
