Behavioral Case

It was a pretty chill interview process, but they did dig into things. I liked the feedback and the mix of questions. Both rounds happened on the same day, in person. First, I had behavioral questions and a case study with one interviewer. Then, I moved to another room for another case study and more questions with a different person. They got back to me with the offer three days later.

I applied for a Sales Manager role at multiple locations because I'm looking to relocate. I had one call with a recruiter in Wooster. We had a really good conversation, and I thought I did very well. She then mentioned that she thought I would be a better fit for the company in the Austin or Dallas area. She stated that the Area Manager would call me to continue the interview process within 48 hours. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything. Either the recruiter was dishonest initially, or the Area Manager is not fulfilling her responsibilities. In any case, I'm not impressed and found it very unprofessional.

First, a recruiter will give you a 30-minute call. If that goes well, you'll have an hour-long interview with the district manager at one of the stores. Expect standard retail questions you should know for this job. A positive attitude is important, so don't say negative things about former employers. Be ready for a lot of 'how would you handle this' questions. If the district manager likes you, you'll then interview with a store manager.
