The interview process was pretty easy and straightforward, felt like a normal conversation. They didn't throw any curveballs with the questions. They asked about how I handle the cashier process and systems, and my general methodology. I met with a few different people who are at various levels in the company.

I applied online, and then the manager rang me up about a week after I sent in my application and did my interview. The interview was about 20 minutes long, and it was just the one interview. The manager showed me around the store, discussed my job duties, and what I should expect. I started working three days later.

I sent in my application online through the Staples website. A call came in about two weeks later for an interview with the manager at Staples. It was my very first interview, so I was super nervous. The interviewer asked general questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'explain a bad situation you were in and how you handled it,' 'how would you describe customer service,' 'what are your plans for the future,' and 'tell me about a time you went out of your way to help someone.' Then I was asked to come back for another interview with a different manager. I went. He was really nice, and I felt more relaxed the second time. We talked for a good while, and he asked the same questions. After that, he asked when I could start. I said anytime. Basically, they're looking for someone who's flexible with their schedule and can be friendly and calm.
