Had a phone interview with the assistant manager. It was a text message the day before asking about interview time/date. It was a pleasant experience. She was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I didn't get the job because she wanted someone with more neuro ICU background. The call lasted about 10-20 mins.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Can you tell me why you are interested in Stanford?
  • Describe your experience with neuro ICU patients.
  • What are two types of strokes and how are they treated?

HR can be a bottleneck sometimes. After HR screens resumes and passes them to the manager, the manager shares them with the unit educator, CNS, and assistant managers. Then, there's usually a phone interview with an assistant manager, followed by a panel interview with floor nurses, charge nurses, and unit educator/management.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about a challenging family or patient situation you faced and how you managed it?
