First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at StandWithUs.
Coordinator
They make you watch an hour long video and then give you an assignment. After completing the assignment, they ghost you and don't give you feedback or tell you they aren't interested. I know this is typical of many employers, but it's not right to waste someone's time by giving them work to do and then not getting back to them? Unprofessional.
- After watching an hour-long video, create a campaign.
Program Manager
Standard interview process. Had three interviews over three weeks. The last one had more than 10 people on Zoom unexpectedly. Never heard back after the last interview, which was very unprofessional. Would have declined anyway due to toxic work environment vibes, felt like they expected constant work.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Advisory Board Member
I had a great experience with very polite and considerate moderators on Zoom. They asked really thoughtful questions about the company, the position, and my related interests. It was a very professional and valuable interview.
- Can you share your experience working with young people?
Software Developer
The interview process was quick and easy. I liked the office and the friendly people. I recommend applying to SWU, they treat employees well and it feels like a family.
