First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Standard Solar.
Software Engineer Intern
It was a standard behavioral interview with lots of conversation. There were multiple interviews in the process. They asked questions about my past experiences and how I would use those skills in the role.
- What makes you want to join Standard Solar?
Analyst
straight forward, 3 rounds, first with HR, then Manager, then Exec. It took about 3 months to finalize. It was more like a conversation which I really liked. They were happy to answer any questions I had as well.
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
PV Engineer
The interview was pretty fast and easy, it was more like a chat than a formal interview. He asked about my time at university, classes I took, and what I'm really into. We also talked about stuff I like outside of school, so I could tell him more about what drives me and my career goals.
- What made you decide to apply for this role?
- Tell me about your university experience.
- What courses did you take?
Project Manager
I spoke with a few managers who asked me about my experience, especially in solar. It was a pretty standard interview process. They also wanted to know about any certifications I have and if I knew about electrical codes. The interview finished with a tour of the office.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
