I had three rounds of interviews for the HRBP role, talking to 5 employees in total. I enjoyed talking with the team and think the product is cool. They didn't end up selecting anyone after the interviews, which felt like maybe the team wasn't aligned on what they were looking for. A big disappointment was having to pay $50 for parking for the in-person interview, and no one mentioned reimbursement.

It was a 3-step interview process. First two were phone calls with the recruiter and then the SDR manager. The last interview was a zoom call with the sales directors. None of the interviews were too long, and they asked relevant questions. If you have the experience, it shouldn't be a tough process.

Multiple recruiters from Stampli reached out over the last year, and I finally responded to one in April. The process started with a phone screen, followed by a Zoom call with another recruiter, and then a phone call with the CFO, Jeff. The recruiters were great and provided really helpful feedback. However, the call with the CFO was a negative experience; he was rude and condescending. It felt like they were testing if candidates could handle senior leadership. Given my self-respect, it wasn't a good match. Despite the CFO's attitude, I appreciated the recruiters' help, and it's probably for the best we didn't proceed further, as I wouldn't have been a good cultural fit for their senior leadership.

The HR phone interview was quite bad, the person yawned and presented the company in a dull, unengaging way without detailing the tech stack. The initial interview invite was also unprofessional. The interview with the VP of R&D was better and clearer about expectations, though the role seems very focused on product features rather than technical growth. It might suit those who enjoy their specific domain. The VP came across as someone who has a strong, unchangeable opinion and doesn't welcome differing viewpoints. It seemed like technical solutions at the company might be haphazard and not thoroughly checked.

Create a Roman numeral calculator. It should take a String input. If it's a valid Roman numeral, return its integer value. Otherwise, handle it as you see fit. Consider the standard symbols, their values, combining rules, repetition rules, and subtraction rules (IV, IX, XL, XC, CD, CM). Also consider invalid inputs like IIII, VV, IC, CDCD, IL.
