I initially spoke with the recruiter and then the hiring manager. It was a typical basic interview. I had a hard time answering what the work environment was like and how they help employees with support and workload management. Couldn't explain how growth worked in the org. Conversations seemed to go really well though with the team being enthusiastic. They spoke highly of my experience and resume. However, I felt completely led as I was told that I would be going into the final rounds. Then ghosted and never heard back. Please respect, appreciate, and be honest to your candidates.

I went through 3 interviews: first, a screening by an HR associate, then I met with the Hiring Manager, and finally, I talked to someone who would be my direct report. I thought the process was really clear and worked well. The HR associate and the hiring manager were both very easy to talk to.

I applied on LinkedIn and the Executive Director reached out to me via email to schedule a 60-minute interview. The interview was split into two 30-minute segments: one with the Executive Director and another with the Sr. Project Director, who had just started. The Executive Director seemed uninterested and went through the motions, asking standard questions without much personal interaction. The Sr. Project Director was pleasant, but new to the role. I sent follow-up emails to both after the interview. The Sr. Project Director replied kindly, but the Executive Director and the company, Hello Design, never responded, leaving me feeling ghosted and that it was quite rude. This experience gave me a negative impression of their work-life balance and company culture.

I applied on the company website and got an email for an initial screening interview with internal recruiting. After that, they wanted to move forward, so they set up a second interview with the hiring manager. Talking with the hiring manager was really enjoyable and comfortable, but they also challenged me with some great questions. I was told a decision would be made quickly, within a couple of days. About a week later, the internal recruiter called and asked if I'd be interested in another position because they thought I'd be a better fit, but the pay was lower than my current salary. We discussed it, and they said they'd review the salary and get back to me with a final decision. I followed up a couple of times, and they just said there was no update.
