I applied online with an employee referral and then didn't hear back for a month or two. I finally had a phone screening with the HR talent recruiter, which I had to reschedule a few times due to conflicting meetings. It involved basic questions about my experience and my interest in the company. Within a week, I was invited for an in-person interview at the office. First, I met with the HR talent recruiter again and took a retail math assessment test. This was followed by about 5 interviews, each lasting 30-45 minutes, with the VP, directors, and managers. The whole process took about 3 hours. Each interviewer had a different style, mostly focusing on my experience, background, interests, and some behavioral questions. The last interviewer was a bit unusual; he suggested other positions at different companies and thought I'd be a better fit for a private label development team. I felt like they had probably already decided against me before I even finished. Overall, it seemed like an average interview, but I wish they would have followed up. It's been almost two months since, and I haven't heard anything despite my follow-up emails. I wouldn't have minded if they passed, as I wasn't overly enthusiastic about working there.

I interviewed with 4 managers, each for about 30 minutes. They mostly asked me the same questions to get to know me. The last manager I spoke with was the CMO of their Gordmans division, and they were definitely the toughest interviewer, asking the hardest questions. My immediate manager was super nice though, and she was trying to get me to work for her even before I got an offer.

It was a multi-round interview process with a lunch break included to split up the day. People from different areas were represented in both the interviews and the lunch. Overall, it was a really good experience and went smoothly with not much waiting around.
