The interview process involved 5 interviews. It started with an HR screening, followed by a more in-depth project discussion with a team lead, focusing only on experience-related questions without coding. Then, there was a 1-hour technical interview where the main tasks were manual testing of their created project, finding bugs, and picking locators. This was followed by a coding question about checking for duplicates in an array. Next, a behavioral interview took place. Finally, a 1.5-hour second technical interview included fixing code and implementing a solution for a simple function (printing even numbers from 1 to 1000), SQL questions, live coding involving creating tests and pages using POM, and basic questions about CI/CD infrastructure for tests.

I applied for a PQ intern role back in 2019. First, there was a phone screen where I had to talk about myself, go over my resume, and ask any questions I had about the job or the company. I asked a lot of questions about programmatic advertising, the industry, and common terms. After that, if selected, I had to complete an assignment. I was given a prompt or question about programmatic advertising and had to create a slide deck for it. There was also an optional Excel assignment, but I skipped it. Finally, there was an in-person behavioral interview with current PQ analysts, and then a one-on-one meeting with the manager or director of the department.

Started with a 20 min call with the recruiter about the process. Then a casual chat with the QA Manager about my experience and tools. Next was a technical screen with questions about locators, short coding problems, and testing a webpage. Following that was a values fit interview, where I answered situational questions for each company value. The final interview involved a code review, writing a solution, an SQL question, and creating a page object model with a playwright test. I had a good initial experience, but the last interview was very negative due to technical issues and syntax problems, not really testing my QA skills. The whole process felt too long, especially with so many interviews.
