Phone screening first, then they mentioned there would be another 3 rounds. Those 3 rounds included a call with the hiring manager, a case study and a culture fit. After the initial phone screening, I received an email stating that I have moved forward in the interview rounds and that they would schedule an interview with me. After following up over 3 times, contacting other people in the company, I had no response from HR. Someone in the company stated that HR was on vacation, which may be why they were not responding. However, there was no email back stating that they were on vacation on their end. They have yet to get back to me after 2 weeks now but at this point, you can tell that this company does not value your time.

The interview process kicked off with a 30-minute screening round, which felt more like a friendly chat than a formal interview. The screener was really nice, super interested in my background, and laid out the rest of the process clearly, even setting up the next call on time. Then, for the second round, the interviewer totally missed the scheduled time. I had to chase them up with an email to see if the interview was still happening. They eventually joined after my email, but seemed pretty annoyed that I had to send one. The interview started with the usual questions about my experience. But it quickly went downhill. I was trying to talk about wanting growth, interesting work, and a data-driven environment, but the interviewer kept focusing on whether my current role actually had those things. It felt like I was being put on the defensive about my current job instead of talking about how I could contribute to StackAdapt. The conversation also seemed to push me to criticize my previous employer, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, rather than exploring my future goals. Instead of discussing how my skills could help StackAdapt, the focus was on negatives from my past, which shut down any real conversation about opportunities. I was excited about StackAdapt, but this interview experience was a letdown. It should be about finding a good mutual fit, not an interrogation about what's wrong with my current situation.

The interview process was short and a bit rough. The hiring manager seemed rushed and was quite dismissive about my resume, which was funny given my greater experience in the field.
