Behavioral Technical

I interviewed for two analyst roles. The talent acquisition team was great, but the hiring managers were a letdown. After just a 30-minute hiring manager interview for both roles, they passed on me after 2-3 weeks, even though the interviews went well, my qualifications were solid, and I had adtech experience. I reviewed my performance and didn't see any reason why I wouldn't at least get a technical round. The questions were basic, about my background and why I'm interested in the company, and the interview wasn't difficult. I suspect the company might discriminate against people with disabilities like stuttering, neurodivergence, or anxiety, as 30 minutes isn't enough time to make a no-hire decision on easy, open-ended questions. Also, for the first role, the interviewer changed last minute, and I found out hours before, making my research on the previous interviewer and their team useless. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here because they seem to either discriminate or be unsure of what they're looking for (or both).

Behavioral Technical Case

So I went through a long interview process, which was a good opportunity to meet the team, but it ended up being frustrating because they weren't upfront about the final decision. It had several parts, like initial screens, technical tests, behavioral talks, and case studies, and each took a lot of time and effort to prep for. The interviewers were good people, you know, knew their stuff, and I liked talking to them. But after the last round, they just said they picked other people without explaining why. Since it was such a long process, it would've been great to know what didn't work out. Getting some real feedback would have made it worth it and shown they cared about our time. So, the company seems to have a solid hiring way, but the lack of openness at the end really put me off. My advice to others is to expect this and ask for feedback early.

The interview experience was great, and everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The onsite interview process lasted about 3-4 hours and involved technical (SQL) and behavioral questions. There was also a take-home quiz and some reading material on programmatic advertising.
